Last Monday, at a leadership workshop I attended, our guest speaker delivered an amazing message on leadership and achieving success overall. She posed a question that continues to resonate with me. When were you at your personal best?

While the question was simple and rather easy to answer, it made me reflect deeply on the person I was yesterday versus the person I will be today. I ask myself every day, what will I do today to become a better person tomorrow? As corny and quirky as it may seem, we live in a society where we forget who we are, who we admire, and what are our intents. Thinking of the question, how can we decide what makes us our personal best? Is it looks, leading, knowledge, or simply just having a huge following base on social media?

I pose these questions to you because I want you to think of when you were at your personal best and then think of what you can do next to become 10x better than that initial reflection. To my sistas and brothas, do more than what you're complacent with. Model the way and inspire a shared vision. Stand up against the injustices, the flaws, and become a better you. Challenge the process. Become 10x the person you see in the mirror and be as resilient as the person you already are. Ultimately, continue to be fearless because you have the opportunity to take numerous risks, and without risks, you may never know where your life will take you. Use your tenacity to never be phased by the unknown. Lastly, work hard even when the odds are not always on your side. I'm writing this to encourage you all to maximize your potential. Take risks, "dream crazy", work hard, and become who/what you want to be known for!THE WORLD IS YOURS.
